It's weird, I'm a big movie fan - I'm even a screenwriter - and I'll happily watch anything put in front of me, but of all the genres, I never really got much out of westerns. Don't know why. Shame really, because there are some absolute gems out there.

That's exactly how I feel about every gangster movie that isn't The Godfather (1972).

The Quiet Man, John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Victor McGlothlin, Barry Fitzgerald, and other Ford Stock Company regulars, directed by John Ford. Any John Ford movie is one I'll watch every time I have a chance.

My all-time favorite movie is Blade Runner. I find it the perfect blend of Noir, Vintage-y costuming, science fiction, hunky guys (especially an at-the-top-of-his-game Ruter Hauer, oh baby!) and an interesting story. The sound track is good, too.
