Well, I occasionally use an image of Old Doc Yak, a favorite comic strip character. Otherwise I just use my old headshots. Most folks cannot tell which is which.

Mine is a proud moment with a couple funny details. Here's the full photo, taken by a friend:

Yeah, I had to crop another friend's gorgeous '49 Plymouth out, but the streetcar is the cool part. It's NJ Transit car 6 at the Rockhill Trolley Museum. It was the morning of the car's dedication ceremony, maybe 1:30am, and the paint was still wet in places! Oh, and the red winged headlight didn't work and wouldn't get fixed for a few more months (but it does work now).

I got the operator's seat for the night photo because I was the only one of the party who wasn't either taking pictures or sitting in the Plymouth. But I was more than happy to be in that seat during final testing, a few months earlier, to be the first to move the car under its own power after retirement in 2001. Didn't get to run the first test trip, nor the first public trip... but that five foot backup move over the inspection pit counts in my book!
