My vanity table corner is sort of a little family museum: the table was made by my great-grandfather, the large mirror once belonged to my great-grandmother, the photos show my great-grandparents wedding, and my grandmothers and -father (and Louise Brooks ).
There's also a tiny framed Edelweiss that my grandfather once gave to my grandmother - she loved Edelweiss as you can also see in the decor of the little porcelain vase. The little wooden boxes (one has an Edelweiss lid) were made by my grandfather and the crocheted table lining by my grandmother. It's actually meant to be inside of a cupboard but I think its worth to be seen.
The glass thingys are from my other grandma.
The only modern thing - the little box cupboard on the wall - hosts my makeup.
It's a bit hard to photograph since it's crammed in the corner, but the photos give you an idea.
