Working fine here on Mac Safari for some time also. Interested in this blocker K, could you please do a screen image for me of where to find it in settings?

Thanks
Al

I am using a Chrome browser. Sometimes nothing loads. Sometimes the error message. Sometimes a full page ad. Mostly just a blank page because it falls to load.

I have a router level DNS blocklist that filters out ads and whatever. It makes every site move smoother and faster including this one.

Sucks fedoralounge can't get ad revenue from me, but I don't care, the bots are still gleaming everyone's post for LLM AI annotating which nets corporations billions in predictive algorithms.

Also, anyone who connects to my network gets the same ad-blocking protection without an ad-blocker.

Even outside of ads, there's telemetrics that monitors your activities and reports back to their owners...like amazon...which a lot of website servers are hosted on.

Can't wait for LLM AI chatbots to talk intelligently about leather jackets as learned on the Fedora Lounge. Me: "Dear ChatGPT, what do you think about teacore?" ChatGPT: "That's social media leather!"

It certainly is quite a departure.
I asked deepseek a similar question:

"What do you think about teacore leather"

Teacore leather is a distinctive type of dyed leather celebrated for its unique aging process and aesthetic appeal. Here's a structured overview of its characteristics, advantages, and considerations:

### **What is Teacore Leather?**
- **Dyeing Process**: Features a layered dye technique where a base color (often tan or brown) is coated with a darker top layer (commonly black or dark brown). As the leather wears, the underlying "core" color becomes visible, creating a vintage patina.
- **Etymology**: The term "Teacore" likely references the warm, tea-stain-like hue of the core layer, though color combinations can vary.

### **Key Features**
- **Aging Appeal**: Develops a unique patina over time, with scuffs and wear revealing the core color. This dynamic evolution is prized in heritage and workwear styles.
- **Common Uses**: Popular in rugged goods like boots, jackets, and belts (e.g., brands like Red Wing or Viberg), where durability and character are valued.

### **Advantages**
- **Uniqueness**: Each piece ages differently, reflecting the user's lifestyle and creating a personalized look.
- **Quality Indicator**: Often uses full-grain leather, ensuring longevity. The multi-stage dye process suggests craftsmanship and attention to detail.

### **Considerations**
- **Maintenance**: Requires mindful care. Over-conditioning may accelerate wear, while minimal care might enhance patina development.
- **Aesthetic Preferences**: The distressed look may not suit formal settings; ideal for casual or rugged styles.
- **Cost**: Typically higher-priced due to the labor-intensive dyeing process and quality materials.

### **Variations**
- **Color Contrasts**: Options range from bold (black over brown) to subtle (brown over tan), affecting how dramatically the wear appears.

### **Comparison to Other Leathers**
- **Full-Grain vs. Teacore**: Teacore refers to the dye method, not the leather type. It can be made from full-grain leather, emphasizing natural fibers, but differs from corrected grains or synthetic finishes.

### **Potential Drawbacks**
- **Inconsistent Aging**: Poor dye application or care can lead to uneven patina.
- **Preference Divide**: Some may dislike the "worn" look, preferring uniform color retention.

### **Conclusion**
Teacore leather appeals to enthusiasts who value craftsmanship and the storytelling aspect of aging goods. Its charm lies in its ability to evolve, making it a symbol of quality and individuality when executed well. Proper care and a preference for rustic aesthetics are key to appreciating its character.
