Here's our real staple made from Hoosier pigs served 20 miles north of my house in my hometown of good ole Fairmount,Indiana. Took this pic yesterday before I gobbled it down with a coldbeer....

Local clams cooked in olive oil, herbs from the garden and a lovely light French wine...served on the side of a locally caught fish grilled with onions, butter, and sweet peppers. Also served were some cheese, fresh home made bread, and a home brewed beer.

Hey! I come from a long line of boot legers.

I use real cream in my coffee, and I eat hot sauce on most of my food.
That doesn't make me a baby.

Tonight it's burgers and Italian sausage (in a wrap with fresh spinach).
Pork rinds with Louisiana hot sauce added.
I heard they are good, so I'll try them.

MMMMM MMMM pork rinds with hot sauce.

Son, if you keep bacon in your pocket, it will be with you wherever you go in life.

Tonight it was steak (25oz) and pork rinds.
Simply because after cutting up a large amount of sweet potatoes for fries, I found out we didn't have enough oil to fry them!
And someone in my house was too busy to go get some.
Oh well....

Last time I ate at a Sbarros was probably twenty years ago when I got a plate of pizza steeped in oil. I think that there was more oil on the plate than pizza. It was the nastiest pizza I have ever had and the reason I have never gone back.
