Knäckebrot with jummy Gouda, Knäckebrot with nice Salami and Rote Beete from the glass.

Pork roast, green string beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. Samuel Adams seasonal brew.

Beans. Just like when they come out of a can, in some sort of tomato sauce. I obvious have zero respect for anyone's culture or tradition, since I am using mixed beans. Red beans and pinto beans, because they grow in the yard.

Pizza. Nothing even close to New York. London pizza attempts approx Manhattan Island epic greatness,
well and good, but its end product isn't Staten Island much less the Village. So, I always codpiece Shakespeare
by also grabbing me a bag of chips or the whole sawbuck fisH & chips.

Tortellini in a marinara sauce with garlic bread and a dinner salad as well as a Grey Goosed fruity type of drink. All in all, I was pretty darn content.

Our local craft brew spot has finally added a food truck. They are running a special: a true pint, burger of your choice and truffle fries for $20. A true bargain. Today is a sunny autumn day so we shall bundle up, date night (OK, afternoon) with my lady, eating on the patio and then home to watch the ball game.

Might be really really hard to top this one.

Calf Döner with Turkish salads and rice. Sweet Turkish black tea for dessert.

Leftover pizza for dinner last night. Popped it in the toaster oven and it was as good as it was the night before.

Lentils stew with Kassler neck and Wiener.

Mashed Turnips and potatoes, so thick that the spoon stands in it, with Kassler and Kohlwurst.

During the week we keep our meals simple, usually a meat and a vegg. Tonight is Pork & Beets....Roast pork tenderloin with roasted beets. One of my autumn/winter favourites.

Stumbled into a kale inferno yesterday, along came home fries, Kassler, pork belly, fresh and smoked cabbage sausages… along with a liter Andechser Dark, a double Jim Beam and several snifters of Osborne Veterano.

I got off work early yesterday so I made pecan crusted ahi tuna with Brussels sprouts.

I love this thread, reading the posts really gives me inspiration.
