Since I had a ton of backlog unceremoniously dumped on me today, whiskey tango foxtrot.
Nothing like being chained to a desk for the next six months....

The repercussions are not that good, ouch...

A few weeks back the stores were short on cauliflower except for $12 'organic' ones. So I bought a package of Buffalo cauli....one of those with all the ingredients included. We made it, it was great but we decided we could make our own and likely better. So tonight we are having a big mess of buffalo cauli with blue cheese dipping sauce and a panko breaded seasoned pork loin chop.

While I can only guess what it means, I officially love the term "metric pound"!

My guess is 454 grams...

A metric pound is 500g, while an imperial pound is 480g if I remember correctly, so it’s been a total of 1250g.

That‘s also a reason why an American Quarter Pounder could not be sold under that name in EU.

Well last night's Tofu stir fry was a big hit so I am on a roll and tonight making Pupusas (pulled pork/cheese) w/ Salvadoran cole slaw

I did not know half a kilo was nicknamed a metric pound!

A pound is actually 453.59 grams, and in Canada at least rounded up to 454 g.

was music, then nailed a half roll of nutter butter cookies, and then some excedrin for aches and pain.
