What's for Dinner?

Went out to dinner tonight with the Patriots down 28-3. I was hoping that a nice dinner might ease my pain. A great meal of beef and broccoli, pork fried rice, shrimp toast, orange chicken, and a couple of Fogcutters. I left happy. I turned the television on when we got home to see the Lombardi trophy moving through...what? Those are Patriot players! Woo hoo!

Babydoll-Happy Birthday! (I'm assuming it is your special day :) )

Tonight: Cheese ravioli with red sauce and mozzarella cheese, salad with homemade Ranch, homemade soft breadsticks
It is! Thank you. We got "snowed in" with 3+" overnight, and continuing to snow throughout the day. No school, no work for me (as I work at a school). Just time to play in the snow, drink tea, and eat cake!

Tonight, I get to pick. Can't decide between tacos & spaghetti. Either way, I'm cooking as it isn't really safe to go out now.

Sounds like a wonderful day! Your cake looks delicious!
My oldest son had a birthday last week and he requested chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream.
Hmmm...that's a hard choice! They both sound good!

Happy birthday - that's a wonderful looking cake.
Thanks! It was delicious. Not overly sweet. Hubby (who doesn't love spice cake) said it was the best he'd ever had.

Lily's birthday is Monday (yes, one week apart), and she has chosen funfetti for her cake. So we will have hers for breakfast, too. And she gets the birthday book I made her capturing all of her special moments from the last year.

Mummy and daddy sick as dogs last night, and girls' night for dance and acting class, so a quick trip to the oven for chicken nuggets and prepared rice in the microvawe!
Hope you are both feeling better!

last night was honey garlic chicken and rice

Tonight is pan fried pork chops, green beans, roasted potatoes, and corn fritters
