With just a kiss of hops.

You cook brats in beer and fries? How do the fries come out? :p

And you thought Hansel and Gretel was bad!

Those poor children ... first to be called brats (we've all had disciplinary problems!), but then to be cooked in beer? Horrors!

:D

I'm very hungry all of a sudden :p. I'm still up in the air as to what to have for dinner tonight, I'm thinking maybe barbecue (maybe sloppy joe's to you), or homemade tacos. Hmmmm....or something with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, that sounds good too. What is a girl to do with all the options, lol.

This isn't our menu for tonight, but it is for a Mediteranean style dinner party we're having on Friday:

Appetizer:
Spanish style Bruschetta (fresh salsa made with finely diced onion and tomato on sliced roll brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt)
Entree:
Roma tomato roasted with oregano, basil, salt, and olive oil, blended with sauted sweet Italian Sausage, over rigatoni

Bottle of Rioja (or two) with dinner, followed by an after-dinner Port

Sometimes a good hamburger helper really hits the spot :). As does some Chevy Chase :p.

Tonight was sesame lo mein. It was a bit spicy but also kind of sweet, it kind of threw me.

What we call 'macaroni pudding' here; macaroni with diced ham mixed with milk and eggs and then baked in the oven.
