Standing Rib-Roast, potatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and bread.
Christmas dinner number one, not at my house, because we don't eat mushrooms. :D

Similar dinner at our house on Wednesday, only dressing for potatoes, and maybe spinach, but no bread.

Very good choice Scotty.
We do that on occasion, only I speed the chicken up in the pressure cooker (with the seasonings added), and put the veggies in the iron skillet.
What variety of hot sauce?
Cholula, Tapatio, Louisiana?

Chili.
It's a Christmas miracle...THE WIFE FIXED IT! :D
Turned out very well.
I added a few things when I got home this afternoon, cocoa for one, and onions.
Well I've been cooking since I was 10, and using knives since I was about that age too.

Stone crabs and shrimp (both colossals) at a Christmas party. For nearly the entire evening I held a position at the buffet where there were mounds and mounds, constantly replenished, with a half dozen great dipping sauces. I overate and actually don't feel so hot right now.:(

I'm thinking about fasting tomorrow.....

Hope your tummy feels better!
Crab and shrimp sound good right now.

My in-law brought me dinner last night when he brought the boys back. Said, "Want some ribs?"
Sure!
Two tiny ribs alone on a saucer. Really? My kids eat more than that!

I feel much better, thank you, since I crapped out those pesky crustaceans. :)

Not to me right now, sadly, considering that crab and shrimp are prominently featured on the menu of my 'last meal.' But not to worry, I'll bounce back.;)

BTW, your in-law needs a talkin' to.

3yr old aged cheddar cheese, crackers, summer sausage, and cheese wrapped with pepperoni, salami, and one other meat (got it at Costco).
Wife's working late, and if she comes home after 8pm this is better than Chili.

Thawing the 10lb rib roast for tomorrow afternoon.

Ham, green beans, cheesy potatos.
Homemade pecan pralines for dessert, thanks to our neighbor.
