I ma not too hot on Mac n cheese but if you add bacon...
The wife adds bacon to deviled eggs----now that is exceptional. Bacon and eggs all at once.

Tonight we started with Insalata Caprese, using fresh mozzarella I made this afternoon.



For our entrée we had Bucatini in a homemade tomato-cream-vodka sauce. And, in keeping with the tradition of this thread, we added in leftover bacon from breakfast.

That has got to be one of the most difficult ingredients to obtain. How do you ever manage to have leftover bacon?

We cooked up a whole pound of bacon at once, with the anticipation of using it later in the week. It didn't make it much later, though.
