Tonight we had chicken and beef fajitas at a new Mexican restaurant (new to us).
It was really good when I found out a family member was treating us to dinner.

Out here, I would describe them as being not quite human. I won't let my boys into those places. They always get into it with the ratboys that frequent the place.

Free meal = Always good.

the only thing that looks remotely appealing to me is:

Germany is the only place where you can grab a beer at McDonald’s.. I guess you can label them as NOT family-oriented. lol

Swiss steak..mashed potatoes..buttery corn on the cob..and iced tea.

Prime sirloin and curly fries (covered in Tapatio hot sauce), with a new (to me) steak sauce from Delmonico's(?) restaurant.
One of my favorite meals.

Well the steak and corn on the cob were tender...(gawd I do love C.O.T.C.). Yeah I'm a sweet tea man..if it's good. Trouble is there are many iced teas that are gawd awful.

I am right there with you on the corn on the cob. It is so simple and yet oh soooooooo good. It makes me happy just thinking about it. But then food does make me feel like it is Christmas.

And let's not forget the mashed potatoes. For my money, potatoes are possibly the best thing going. There are so many wonderful ways to prepare them and all so wonderful.
