Scrambled eggs with mushrooms, peppers, and chopped green onions. Link sausage, and hash browns with sour cream dill dressing.

Four link sausages, two scrambled eggs, and a cup of plain tea.

I have this same breakfast every morning except Saturday, when I go to an irony-free lunchroom downtown and have two sausage patties, one scrambled egg, and two slices of white toast. And a cup of plain tea. Sometimes they give me an extra egg for free, or they just messed up the order, I can never tell which.

Well, my ideal breakfast would be:

1 glass of either tomato or orange juice. (What the heck, though 'em both in)

1 cup of coffee.

2 poached eggs.

2 pieces of toast.

2 (which will most likely turn into five after I eat the first and see only one left) link sausages.

A nectarine.

And, if I'm especially hungry, a piece of toast with either butter and a slice of cheese, or grated chocolate.

My breakfasts are usually pretty mundane though... if anything at all.

Looks delicious, Justin B! I could just about do a 2-and-a-half gainer right into that plate and eat my way back to the surface! I like how your sausage is nearly burnt black too. :)

This is what i do on weekends. As I write this I'm just about to hit the kitchen and start cooking.

Not much getting done after this breakfast. Time to take a nap.
:D

Not for me. This is fuel for a beast.I'm up with the dog at 6 every morning, go for a run, then come home, during the week have some yogurt and get ready for work. Weekends though, same but instead of yogurt I cook this and then start yard work before it gets hot, then on to house work. Sunday is my day of relaxation, which means doing laundry and playing video games.

2 fried eggs and sausage.
They looked lonely without the low carb blueberry muffins I made a few weeks ago.
I need to make those again.

Yeah but the bacon is just too much along with sausage and eggs.
Especially at 5am in the morning. :D
I save the bacon for the weekend when I can take my time and enjoy it.

Interestingly, I have a story here. For many years I was eating 2 organic oat-honey bars every morning with a cup of tea. At a doctor's visit I got a total cholesterol reading of around 195. OK, good enough. I didn't make a connection of any of this at the time. I changed jobs and was stopping at the 7-11 on the way to work every morning and getting a donut and cup of hot chocolate. Next doctor visit some year or two later my cholesterol was about 220 and this doctor got all worked up about needing drugs to get it down. I thought he was full of it but still didn't have a clue why the higher count. Well, anyway, I changed jobs again and was back to a couple of oat-honey bars and tea for breakfast. Some time later - a year or two - and my doc gave me a blood test and my cholesterol was back down around 195. Took a while for me to think about this and to make the connection but I got it. Now I eat as many as 4 oat-honey bars a day and my last cholesterol count was in the 180s.
