Generally for me it's a combination of some of these:

Havarti cheese
Braunschweiger
Sausage
Toast with butter and marmalade
Tea or coffee
Juice

My usual, which I haven't done in awhile was an "everything bagel", some meat, and tea or coffee. I may have some juice on the side as well.

I do have a dense oatmeal (umpqua oats), but I have to really be in the mood for oatmeal. The other hot cerals I have are Pinole, and Farina. I keep a minimum amount of cold cereal on hand, but that's more for an in between main meals or midnight snack sort of thing.

In colder weather I tend to replace tea more often with raspberry hot chocolate (with marshmallows from the bag), and drizzled with chocolate syrup.

Made my world famous (at least in my own mind) raspberry/white chocolate scones. The recipe is perfect to cut in half so I make just 4 scones (2 each)…....no leftovers......they are never as good the next day.

Breakfast is in the making:

Chopped orange bell pepper, fresh picked this morning, sauteed in butter & olive oil with chopped Spanish onion and sliced mushrooms.

Then one fresh picked jalapeno & one fresh picked cayenne are diced, and two crumbled patties of sausage are added to the mix.

As the medley nears it's peak, 3 eggs are gently stirred in.
Then fresh flour tortillas are lightly toasted and warmed over the burner flame... and breakfast is served up with salsa and cold coffee, along with a few halved fresh picked figs and sliced peach.

Scrambled up about a 1/2 pound of hot, country style sausage and made gravy out of it to top some pretty decent frozen biscuits I baked. So, too much is what I ate.
