Valid point. If I don't change my name (very likely) the Thomas will just stay as "T." in the middle of my name to add distinction.

I would combine one of my favorite first names with the original version of my family's last name before immigration to this country, and I would be Vladmir Pivo.

You probably already know this, but Pivo is Czech for beer, and czech beer is fantastic. Great name.

Yes, my dad's dad was from Russia, and the name, I have been told, means 'beer maker,' which I'm quite proud of, tyvm!
