shipping charge alone 2x the price of my long wallet:confused:

i must say ever since I use long wallet on my pants, all the banknotes inside looks pressed and straight like fresh from ATM machine even when I received them dingy & wrinkly from someone else, so I feel proud when paying something even the smallest bill looks straight and proper

This.

It's a perfect freaking wallet and I've been looking at these things for months and while I technically can buy it, first, I just don't feel comfortable paying $300 for a wallet and even if I did, Schott is charing $150 for the shipping to Europe which is like what. Then I'd get hit by customs and it would come out at $600 so all I can do is dream.

It's a damn nice wallet, though...

Be brave, and go with Ojago Design. :D

More seriously, I'd get in touch with Black Acre and see if he can do anything with cheaper shipping.

@red devil I carry mine in my back pocket or backpack. These days I tend not to use cash, and most of my cards are in Google Pay, so I just use a Bellroy phone wallet.

I have been thinking of trying a long wallet, where do you guys carry it normally?
under the armpit of course:p

serious answer, depending on where the ring for the chain is located, and if the wallet has a tab with a decorative snap
if the wallet has a tab on the right side, and the ring for the chain is on the tab, then it goes to the back right pocket

if the wallet has a tab on the right and the ring on the spine of the wallet then it goes to the back left pocket

if it is tab-less and with the ring on the spine then it can go either back pocket.

if the wallet i
has no ring to attach chain, it goes to jacket inside pocket or into a bag

No chain on mine and it lives in my back pocket...
I just gave it a clean and a little bit of Pecards:

I dropped mine and accidentally kick it after I stand up from feeding my cat, and dropped it in the toilet floor, lucky both happened at home, on a cargo pants back pocket and stretch jeans they both have low set roomy back pocket and don't hold the wallet securely, with raw i have to jam it in until the top flared out and fit tight, still in the crowd I'm afraid of pickpocket

$150 for shipping charges?!

Yep! Insane.

That's exactly what I want from my wallet! Right now I have an old Harley Davidson trucker wallet that's too small and I'm sick and tired of always pulling out notes folded & pressed 3 times. It's embarrassing and I feel bad handing out money that looks like that.

I love my straight vanson wallet but geez i gaurantee i can have that schott made for alot less, it just wouldnt be a schott.

These wallets on Schott website are actually made by Coronado and yeah, they are pricey but... It's just perfect in every possible way.

Back pocket, attached to the belt. And I never take it off. Ever.

None of which have the wallet.
I doubt they would differentiate which is or is not available overseas. Perfectly logical way to protect overseas dealers from their perspective. Some charges higher shipping some keeping the VAT for themselves by not offering tax free.
I almost bought a Schott Horween wallet (the small one) in Japan a few years ago when their Horween accessories first came out.

Vanson in the CW. Works for me and at a reasonable price. Always the right-side back pocket. I have about six different chains that I swap out too. Depending on my mood.

Looks great and practical. Is it the long version?

Yes it is. Very practical. I need to condition mine. Been awhile.

Edit: This is the 7" version. I guess they have an 8" version (I do not recall seeing it before) now. The 7" wallet's interior seems more practical.
