What was the last TV show you watched?

Last night we saw the first of the new season of Fear the Walking Dead, a really great start and a fantastic development for Morgan.

Also saw the first of the new show, the one about the new generation under the Civil republic. We had been turned off by poor reviews and a criticism calling it Riverdale Meets the Zombie Apocalypse. We did enjoy it, and while a moody teen centric show would not be my first choice I am interested in this republic group and what they are about.

Wife and I also got in episode two of the new Fargo with Chris Rock. Really enjoying it so far.

Fear took me a few episodes to really get into it, but I enjoyed how it brought a whole different feel to things than the original show. World's End does look like it will be interesting. Between these two, it's a clever expansion of the world in both directions. The original show set out, like the source material, to explore the long-term survival issues without getting bogged down in plague origin. That world established, Fear gave us a sense of how it got to there; World's End is clearly taking it a stage further, exploring what it's like for those with little or no experience of anything else. I hope if they ever decide to win up the franchise conclusively, that we'll see an exploration of how a broken society and state reforms, rathe than that just being rushed. An interesting theme in the comic book I'd like to see more of is the clash between ideologies - those who see it as a chance to build something better, and those who simply want to recreate what was there before.

They did indeed, but as their side started it my sympathy is somewhat diminished. I save most of it for the names on the cenotaph in my town square.

Certainly a good thing their 'side' didn't "win". Nasty business, war.

Season finale of The Boys. Wow. What a ride!!!

Yeah... rarely does anything entertaining "surprise" me. They did it this time. I didn't see the twist coming at all and usually I'm hep by a country mile. These folks know how to keep their cards close to the vest. The Boys is one of those rare shows that have me counting the days till next season. "The Wire" did this as did the first 6 seasons of GoT. Hope they can keep up the fine work.

Caught that a couple nights ago and wow! I heavily disagree with those saying they hated this season and that it went nowhere. Was it not as good as last season? Maybe, but it definitely was NOT worse. And I am likewise looking forward to the next season!

I just finished it tonight, and I'll admit I had to do some light research about midway through the season to figure things out. What was going on was we were seeing two different time periods represented without it being shown as such. Geralt and Yennefer were presented to us 30 years prior to what was happening to Ciri. As the season drew to a close, Geralt and Yennefer's time caught up to Ciri, which was actually where the season started. So, we got "flashbacks" without them being shown as such. Presumably, with S2, we shall now see everything caught up and all of our main characters interacting within the same time period. I just hope we get to see what happened to Jaskier after Geralt chased him away. I liked Jaskier.

Soulmates. AMC. If your idea of a good story is marriage and relationships falling apart out of selfishness and always thinking there is something better and more, here's a dark and depressing series for you. Compared to Black Mirror, but I haven't seen that.

We are finishing off the final season of Schitt's Creek and loving it, will be sad to see it go, and I am continuing with Marcella (Marchella that is...) series two, and finishing off my second run through Battlestar Galactica (2004 - 2008).

Watched the final episode of "Godless," an outstanding miniseries with the shootout in the final episode being entertaining (if unbelievable) as heck. Thank you again @MisterCairo for the recommendation.

I though "Schitt's Creek" had a couple of good seasons early on and really enjoyed the underutilized Stevie (Emily Hampshire) character, but thought it lost focus and freshness in the last few seasons. Also, I am amazed at the incredible press it's been getting. I liked it, but thought it was nothing but an average good show.

Finished binging S1 of Peaky Blinders yesterday. Pretty good show, but I'm not sure if I'll continue. I liked how the show wrapped up in episode 5.

Prairie Dog Manor. Am I hallucinating? Is this deep mockumentary? It's Disney nature film meets Andy Kaufman. Deep voiced narrator telling us what's going on in prairie dogs' heads as they battle for prairie dog dominance and multiple prairie dog wives. Didn't get through the first episode. We were laughing a lot.

We have now finished Schitt's Creek. What a wonderful ride that was! We did not even start it until the sixth and last season was starting. We had heard much about it, the Fandom to the point of holding viewing parties in costume, etc.

Watching the first few episodes we thought it was cute, funny, but it quickly developed into more. The rich to poor trope is fine, but it would make a poor one joke show. You wished you knew these people and cared for them.

I now have a hankering for some peanut butter things. Fortunately I am surrounded by old farm witches here in southwest Ontario...

As it is a CanDIn production we felt compelled to watch it early on. Found it decidedly not funny and unwatchable. never did understand the positive buzz about it.

Assuming you're referring to Schitt's Creek and not Godless, my wife and I agree. We tried to watch it earlier in the week but barely got through the first episode. Normally I'd view a few more episodes just to give a show a chance, but we were both so unimpressed that I decided I didn't want to give the show a chance.
