Victorian Slum House: 1880s. It is getting better! I don't want to say my ancestors had it easy, they were tenant farmers back then, but next to the slum dwellers, they were John D. Rockefeller!

Has anyone seen the first few episodes of Fargo season 3 yet? After the finale of season 2 which left me staring at the screen with a big "WHY", I was a bit hesitant to watch season 3 but just watched the first episode and was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to the rest of it.
I thought season 2 was fantastic, so keep that in mind. Season 3 isn't quite up to that level so far, but it's very, very good.

Oh, I can see why Lucifer did it, and the manner in which he did it. It just grates that we didn't get to see it!!!

I wonder if there is anything behind that. Dispute with the actress perhaps, so they didn't use her? Or there's a reason they didn't show it, because she's not really dead? Maybe she's an LMD (there I go mixing my TV universes!).

Someway or another, I think we'll see Crowley, Rowena, and Castiel again. There will be a reset or something when Mary and Lucifer get back from the alternate world. Or the Nephalim will revive them. Or something.

Yeah, I'm thinking the Nephalim will do quite a bit of "resurrecting."

I have to admit, though, that last scene where the Nephalim is sitting in the dark corner, with glowing yellow eyes, freaked me out. Can't wait for next season.

Season Finale's of "Arrow" and "Flash". Meh... this season stunk. Rehashed or second rate villains and little true drama. Bait and switch deaths that I think are ALL going to be reversed by Barry Allen undoing "Flashpoint". I'm this close to giving up on ALL the CW "tweener" drivel.

I'm working my way through Iron Fist on Netflix, three more episodes to go. Not as bad as I was expecting based on the reviews, but it's clearly the weakest of their four Marvel series. Both the conception/writing of Danny Rand and Finn Jones' performance is inconsistent and weak, leaving something of a void at the center of the show. Many of the fight scenes fall flat. It's mostly worth watching for the supporting characters and villains... especially the ones visiting from the other series.

My ranking of the Netflix Marvels:

Daredevil - season 1 ***, season 2 **
Jessica Jones - ****
Luke Cage - ***
Iron Fist - **

And Worf, I have to agree that The Flash was awfully weak and redundant this season. Supergirl was also uneven, but quite impressive in its best moments. I don't watch Arrow or Legends, so no comment on them.

While I'm on the subject of superhero series... Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had its strongest season. I still mostly hate Gotham, but I have to admit that it had some pretty entertaining moments this year. And I thought Legion on FX was a uniquely different, borderline brilliant approach to the superhero concept.
