What was the last TV show you watched?

My dad used to watch the boxing “Gillette Cavalcade of Sports" on TV in black & white.
Do you remember the Gillette jingle ?

I recently watched a little bit of HBO boxing. Not so much the boxers but the ladies in the
audience. The look on their faces was interesting ! I never can quite understand what
attraction they would have for this sport. They probably had bets on who would win I guess ! :p

Sure. You were watching the Card Girls. :p

Got to love it!

Here's video of the last few minutes. Completely bonkers.

Dam I wanted to see him rip up the reff's notebook ,but the clip stopped short of that .
I'm going to do a google search and see if I can find it .
Just one more thing to add, some of these players should get an Oscar for their "acting " when they get "hurt" ,I know they can be fined big bucks if caught but its hard to prove sometimes and you know they do it to try to get someone carded to help their team get an edge ,sometimes it's down right laughable when one second they are rolling around on the ground and then the next second ( especially right after someone get's carded) they are up and raring to go!

Please, if anyone here is USMC, tell me that inept leadership is just a trope of the genre and doesn't reflect real life.

Don't know, haven't watched the show, probably won't now! "Right or wrong, make a decision now!"

Ultimate Restoration: The Midmer Losh: Breathing Life into the Beast! The worlds largest musical instrument, with well over 33,000 pipes, some are 64 feet high. It takes 394HP to power the eight blowers, that provide the sound in the 5,500,000 cubic feet of volume. It is the, "Largest pipe organ ever constructed", "Largest musical instrument ever constructed" and "Loudest musical instrument ever constructed". Here is an old recording from the 50s, imagine what it must sound like in person. Unfortunately, it has been over 50 years since it has been fully operational! I thought it was really good, but two of the officers were inept beyond belief (others were very smart). One seemed mentally ill, and another seemed to have the reasoning skills of a five year old. I am certain (I mean, I really hope) that this is some kind of inaccuracy.

You maybe should watch it. It portrays the boredom of inaction, and the vastness of the military effort well, I thought.

I don't know about the U.S.M.C., but my wife and I have a good friend who was finally allowed to retire from the Army a few years ago after giving them three decades of his life. Based on some of the stories he's told us over the years, I think I can safely say he doesn't have much respect for the "leadership" of some of the higher-ranking officers he served under.

Wimbledon. It's refreshing to watch a sporting event that isn't bathed, slathered, and drowned in advertising. The only thing on the court walls is a Slazinger logo tucked away in the corners, and they aren't very big. Rolex sponsors the official time clock, so there is the big clock in the corner of the court that you don't see often. IBM does the stats, and there is that. The players' clothing sponsors keep their logos low key. It is a posh sport. I has a lot of big money behind it (definitely no more than soccer, football, and basketball). I get it. It's nice on the eyes. That's all I'm saying. The play has been good.
