State of Affairs, the second to last episode of the season. I am behind (as always) in my viewings of Gotham, The Walking Dead, Helix, and Better Call Saul. There are probably more, but I sometimes forget what I am watching.

I chose a few episodes that I really enjoy first.
Two of my personal favorites are Deal Me Out, and 5 O'clock Charlie.
Although rare, the character of Col. Flagg was only in a few episodes.
Of all the guest characters, the wife and I find Flagg to be the best.

Personally, my favorite caricature was Harry Morgan as the crazy General Steele!

Noooooooooo!
The first three seasons of M*A*S*H were pretty good. It was after McLean Stevenson and Wayne Rogers left and it became The Alan Alda Show that it started circling the drain, and by the time Gary Burghoff left it had definitely overstayed it's welcome. It's not that the replacement actors/characters were bad, but every time they changed cast members the writing and tone of the show changed, and over it's 11 seasons it went from a "situation comedy" to a "message of the week" show. Yes, we get it--war is bad. Where did the "funny" and "entertaining" go?

It was a message of the week show from the beginning. More Alda just made it worse.....

I must have only seen the ones from the Alan Alda / message of the week period because I can't watch the show and never could (and I know that I am on an island of very few people with that view) - but I've only watch probably twenty or so episodes, so it's very possible I've just seen the wrong grouping.

I enjoyed them both a great deal. Lots of questions in Saul's backstory but I was immediately "hooked". What's your opinion?

Worf
I too was hooked from the first. The Saul character was one of a few great ones from Breaking Bad. He was this stereotypical ambulance chaser who is willing to do anything to help his clients as long as they have the cash and he appeared to follow the letter of the law.
It is not a bad idea to show how he went from James "Slipping Jimmy" McGill to Saul Goodman.
I'm thrilled to see Jonathan Banks reprise his character Mike Ehrmantraut from BB!

They all stunk. You didn't miss anything. :p
My father hated that show. As a Korean War veteran, he would point out all the inaccuracies as they happened. The one he hated most was the one where the dope Alda stepped on a mine and it clicked one. Supposedly it was to click twice and then blow you up. My father said. "The guy standing feet from me didn't get a second click." They went off when you stepped on them.

The Men Who Brought The Dawn. Still the beast documentary ever on the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki! Incidentally, everyone goes on about the first words after the bomb dropped were, "my God," turns out they were a more appropriate combat sounding words, "Jesus Christ, look at the size of that thing!" I don't care for that show either, and for the same reasons.

Currently watching Bewitched.
