"The Outer Limits" - I watched two versions of the same episode "Feasibility Study" . An suburban community is literally scooped out of the ground and sent to another galaxy. The perps want to see if humans could survive their atmosphere without literally turning to stone. They've pursued mental maturation to the point that their bodies have rendered them incapable of physical labor and they need a species that can do the heavy lifting for them. You know... slaves. The first episode was from the original 60's series the second from the 90's. Same story well done both times. What a difference 30 plus years can make.

Rillington Place:
A 3 parter about the murders by John Christie at 10 Rillington Place, London during the 1940s-50s.
Not as scary as the Richard Attenborough portrayal in his film. Maybe the TV people don't think we can't take realistic horror these days, the scene where Attenborough's Christie walks up stairs to strangle the baby, rope in hand is quite shocking though that is all you see. All we see in the TV version is the police telling Timothy Evens the body of his wife and baby have been found.

The first five episodes of Season 2 of Man in the High Castle. Good grief. I'm trying not to binge-watch the entire thing, but it's SO hard. This series is incredibly well done.

Van Gogh's Ear. Fascinating!
Having only a casual interest in Van Gogh, when I first read your post I thought, "Seriously? Someone made a documentary about that?" But *I found it online and watched it. Interesting, and well worth 55 minutes of someone's time if they have any interest at all in Van Gogh.

*The video "expires" January 10th, so watch it while you can.

If nothing changes our plans (sometimes, it seems, we have so little control over our days), we plan to watch the first few episodes of this, this evening. Can't freakin' wait. Glad you are enjoying it and glad its quality has help up this season.
