Has anyone seen the Horace & Pete series? I'm very curious.
spoiler alert
The Knick. I love this show, but I didn't care for how they neatly wrapped up everything in a bow in the final few episodes of season 2. It was interesting, and then they began to telegraph all the arcs. Everything about Dr.Edward's redirection to psychiatry was both convenient and spoon fed. It got to be absurd in little ways. Like yes, die in a fire when you have a 30ft drop and at least a handful of 20ft ladders not 15ft away from you.
Why do we keep seeing closeups of Geranger's sister-in-law's face? Because she was pissed that her sister ruined her chances at society and a luxurious life, so she encouraged the wife to continue to do bad things until she would be institutionalized so the sister-in-law could take her place. The sister-in-law pushing her sister to stay unstable and not recover. That's coming in season 3. I'll put money on it.
The Night Manager mini-series. I enjoyed the first episode, but I really don't care for the actor playing Roper. Never have.
Mr.Selfridge. The whole Carliano getting pushed off the balcony so Mae can be rid of ??? and end up with Harry was too easy. Another show taking the easy route. This show isn't about great writing in the first place, but that jogged me out of the story.
