Arnold Rothstein was one of the great pleasures of the series, and (spoiler alert!) his not appearing in the shortened final season was a huge disappointment. Michael Stuhlbarg is tremendous in the role. (Actually, he's always excellent: A Serious Man is probably my favorite Coen Bros film.)

The end of season two - that awful but inevitable ending - is one of the highlights of the series. There are plenty more adventures ahead, but nothing else that reaches the depth of Nucky and Jimmy's difficult relationship, IMHO.
Stuhlbarg has that "something" that is rare to see. It is kind of like watching Ian McShane in Deadwood. Surrounded by outstanding dialogue, directing, and acting and shining brighter than all, he makes each scene. I do not believe that I have seen him in anything else before, but look forward to; especially something by the Coen Brothers. Watching Boardwalk makes it difficult to watch other shows.

Dark Shadows Season 1.
We have the entire series, but my wife seems to forget the story line of some episodes, due to passing out!
So we reached halfway through the series, and now she wants to start it back over.
It's good background noise while I work, until we reach episode 650, then I'll start watching it again.

An odd Canadian series that's almost 20 years old and I NEVER heard of it before. The Devils Gun, an anthology series about a cursed handgun that mostly brings misfortune to those that possess it. Hour long episodes with meager production values... Narrated by Kris Kristofferson. I watched 3 episodes on Saturday night on some channel called "ThisTV" or something like that... interesting. Kinda like the Twilight Zone meets Gunsmoke.

The CURRENT season... I'm done being manipulated by Gimple & Company. I was finished after Glenn's Houdini act, and the "cliff hanger" stupidity of the show has just boiled over. Too much for me... I'm done.

So, I'm guessing you guys didn't like this season?

My wife and I loved it, and are really looking forward to NEXT SEASON!

An episode of the early-Sixties anthology show Thriller, hosted by Boris Karloff. Thriller did both supernatural episodes, such as an adaptation of Robert Howard's "Pigeons from Hell," and Alfred Hitchcock-like crime/suspense/murder stories. This, "Choose a Victim," was one of the latter, a beach-town take on Double Indemnity, with Larry Blyden as the Fred Macmurray character and Susan Oliver as Barbara Stanwyck's. The two plot to murder her rich uncle and run away with the money. I could see the first twist coming, but the second came as a pleasant surprise (though not so pleasant for Susan's character, heh heh heh).

I do love these old B & W shows, and playing the game of "That's [fill in actor/actress name]!"

ETA: Oh, and IMDb says this was directed by actor Richard Carlson. (I always get him mixed up with TV's early Ellery Queen, Hugh Marlowe. Carlson would have made a very good EQ himself.)

Well to each his/her own. I read the books and they've run out of steam so I shouldn't expect the show to be any different.

I read them before the series came out, but stopped once it did. I didn't want to spoil the series. I don't know if it did, but I am starting to okay the ending of many characters
i used to like. And I have yet to watch the season finale.

Tiny House Hunters. The were in my city, didn't think the city's minimum square footage rules would allow this. I guise if it is on wheels, there is a different standard!

I think the show is actually improving over time. More and more emphasis on how the struggle is against other people vice walkers popping out from behind closed doors. This season to us was an improvement over last year's, and Negan as a formidable opponent will serve well for an exciting season in the fall.

Now, on to FEAR the Walking Dead... AND GAME OF THRONES!!!
