What was the last TV show you watched?

I lived in Oakland, near Fruitvale and the Alameda estuary and in Berkeley. Dealt almost exclusively with hippies and punks. Met lots of intimidating, quick-to-violence people in the Bay, but none of them were from the hippie subset and only a few from the punk subset.

I hope I'm not the only one who found the humor in this sentence.

You weren't in San Franfeako though. That is the Nexus of nut bar hippies---to this day.

Yeah the song wasn't much, but the brunette walking by sure was!
That was Suzanne Summers in a wig btw.

Last night I also watched The Bob Newhart Show Season 5 episode 2. Howard Hessman is in that episode.
While I'm glad they FINALLY released the final 2 seasons of the show, season 5 could have been re-mastered.

In a wig? I thought something looked familiar there. :p

Whats In The Barn. Dale tried to buy The Roadog. Another guy got there first. The back story was far more interesting, shows how legends get twisted all out of proportion to reality! The machine was built by "Wild Bill" Gelbke a well educated man. Roadog was powered by a 152 cubic inch (2.4L) four-cylinder engine from a Chevy Nova II. It featured a two-speed Automatic PowerGlide transmission and included a reverse gear. It was over 17 feet long and weighed in at 3,280 lbs. To hold it upright when stopped, he installed hydraulic rams. He road it all over the Southern United States, keep in mind, he was some where around 5'7" tall. He was said to be a very nice guy, not at all like his photo. Sadly he was shot to death by police officers in 1978. There is still a controversy as to what happened.
