Sport is the mortal enemy of art and culture. Having last Summer suffered the indignity of living in an Olympic city, the only good word I have to say about that particular farce is that at least it will never again happen in my lifetime (and hopefully it has also killed stone dead any desire for or chance of London hosting the soccer World Cup, which would be even more beastly).
Ancient Death Machines on Ancient Discoveries
Ok, what channel?!
The HistoryW Channel, but right now it is Mega Machines on Ancient Discoveries.
The antikythera device?
No, although that would be a good episode, this is more about machines used to create massive structures around the world.
Ah! I see. When I get home I will check I out--net to the fireplace
I enjoy the cast, the high quality of acting, the new story each season, and the overall high quality of the production...but the 3rd season, Coven, was sort of a mess. The quality drops a little each season. The ending of season 3 was particularly weak."American Horror Story - Asylum" Binge watching again. Not as well done as the first season but still with it's share of chills.
Worf
Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell, But I've been seen with Farrah.
A lost classic.YES! I've got the theme song on my phone.
I rather liked The Fall Guy. Before that the only thing I'd seen Lee Majors in was The Six Million Dollar Man, so I enjoyed watching him poke holes in the "tough guy" persona. The show certainly didn't inspire, or require, any deep thought, but it was fun to watch. The Fall Guy
