Sport is the mortal enemy of art and culture. Having last Summer suffered the indignity of living in an Olympic city, the only good word I have to say about that particular farce is that at least it will never again happen in my lifetime (and hopefully it has also killed stone dead any desire for or chance of London hosting the soccer World Cup, which would be even more beastly).

Soccer -- gotta love a sport that turns any city centre into a potential battle zone on match day. :p Though in America soccer, played in "no score" leagues, is something forced on obese, uncoordinated suburban spawn by their yuppie moms -- hence the term "soccer mom".

Premier League Soccer, since you mentioned it.
I've got a game taped from last week that I need to watch.
Battle zone is right, some people take their team seriously.
Almost as much as people over here take their foot ball team.
Soccer moms...they are most dangerous behind the wheel of their big suv, while talking to the kids, and texting. :eeek:

"American Horror Story - Asylum" Binge watching again. Not as well done as the first season but still with it's share of chills.

Worf
I enjoy the cast, the high quality of acting, the new story each season, and the overall high quality of the production...but the 3rd season, Coven, was sort of a mess. The quality drops a little each season. The ending of season 3 was particularly weak.

Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell, But I've been seen with Farrah.
I've never been with anything less than a nine, so fine.
I've been on fire with Sally Field, gone fast with a girl named Bo.
But somehow they just don't end up as mine...
It's a death-defying life I lead, I'll take my chances.
I've died for a living in the movies and tv.
But the hardest thing I'll ever do is watch my leading ladies,
Kiss some other guy while I'm bandaging my knee.

I might fall from a tall building, I might roll a brand-new car,
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that made Redford such a star.

I've never spent much time in school, but I taught ladies plenty.
It's true I hire my body out for pay, hey hey!
I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs, blown up over Rachel Welch

But when I wind up in the hay, it's only hay, hey hey!
I might jump an open drawbridge, or Tarzan from a vine,
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman, that makes Eastwood look so fine.

They'll never make me president, but I got the best first ladies
Someday´s I got´em as far as the eye can see - ouee
A morning dove with Jacky Smith, a crash in the night with Cheryl
But in the end they never stay with me
On my fall from the Tower Building, so Burt Reynolds don't get hurt
I might leap the mighty Canyon, so he can kiss and flirt
Well, that smooth talker's kissing my girl - I'm just kissing dirt
Yes, I'm the lonely stuntman, that made a lover out of Burt

YES! I've got the theme song on my phone. :D
A lost classic.
Before I got my own phone, my wife would give me hers, so I could call her and family members if I needed something.
I got a lot of looks at the office, and other places I'd go, when her phone would ring.
The ring tone? Theme song from Charlie's Angels. :eusa_doh:
