Yes, yes it did.Killed him too.

Fast N' Beer you mean. The Andy Griffith Show and Fast N' Loud
You will be stone cold drunk at the end of every episode. The next time I watch Fast N' Loud, I think that I'll take a drink each time Richard runs his fingers through his hair. It should be more entertaining then listening to him.

Like playing Up and Down the River in college.Despite my tolerance, you are probably correct. I might attempt it only one time.

That is just too normal. Let me guess, you never had Old St. Nick beer either.I didn't play drinking games in college, we just drank while playing games.

You are a school teacher. You at least have to appear normal. OSN was what was available and cheap. Tasted like rubber tires.I don't know that I have ever been called normal. Never had O.S.N., but lots of other beverages. A lot of whatever was available and affordable.

That sounds synonymous with hippie there. Lucky and Big Mouth weren't that bad. At least not as bad as PBR and Stella. Oh and Fast N' Beer.Alternative Ed. teacher.
Lucky Lager and Micket's Big Mouth were the cheap swill of choice for many back then.
I watched an episode of Cities of the Underworld last week in which they examined some of the "unknown underground" beneath the city of Los Angeles. In addition to the remains of what was once a rather extensive subway system, there are (or rather were) 11 miles of underground service tunnels that connected all of the major hotels in the downtown area. During prohibition, bootleg alcohol was distributed through those tunnels without the general public's knowledge so that people who could afford to do so would still be able to gather and drink at the speakeasy of their choosing (also underground). The kicker is that the entire operation was run and managed by the Mayor's office and used Los Angeles Police Department officers as security.Last night I watched the final episode of a 3-part documentary series called "Prohibition", which originally aired on PBS (I watched it on Netflix streaming). I really enjoyed seeing all the archival footage of 1920s and '30s style, but what struck me the most about it was how closely the debate on both sides of the prohibition issue mirrors the debate of marijuana reform today, and every bit as hypocritical.
