"Village of the Damned!" - Love George Sanders, well used in a cracking good story I never get tired of watching. Even read the novella. Not "frightening" per se but very chilling!

Nice one!
I love how Joan Crawford stands up to those Nazis!
John Wyndham, the author of the original story, The Midwich Cuckoos, also gave us The Day of the Triffids and Out of the Deeps. He and John Christopher were the 20th-Century British specialists in The Epic Disaster and How It Will Affect England."Village of the Damned!" - Love George Sanders, well used in a cracking good story I never get tired of watching. McLintock!
I saw about twenty minutes of that on TCM recently (as TCM was playing in the background as we chatted about earlier) and really want to see it from beginning to end.
McLintock!
Five minutes of one of the Transformers movies which my housemates were watching as I left the house to grab me a bite to eat.
Watched it myself, yesterday. One of my favorites with JW and MO.
Such a classic!
My kids love those films. They are on the living room TV almost constantly. I don't get why the transformers talk to each other- why don't they just bluetooth or something?

Well seeing as how they were introduced in the 1980s, they didn't have that stuff back then so it isn't part of the lexicon.
