Watched "The Majestic " last night ,enjoyed it very much, it was great just to look at the fashion styles etc .

Saw it when it first hit cable and thought it was very, very good and very un-Jim Carey like. As you said, the styles alone were awesome, but the story had a nice tone, pace and vibe.

Same here, I'm a big Bruce fan and have most of his movies in my collection.
I even read his books and highly recommend them.

Quadrophenia was on last night. Cracking film.... still prefer the rockers, though.

Great movie, except the tub scenes.
Oh sure, the wife enjoys them. ;)
The Rockers were cool, but the Mods had better style.

Tonight, the Black Cat with Karloff and Lugosi.
I can't emphasize how great this film is, from the story, to the Art Deco (especially the main room in the house, which cost $25K to build back then!), and two great horror stars in their prime. :eusa_clap
We watch it every October....
