Also, interest in Indian Army, both pre and post independence.

Yep, 3rd Brigade, during the transition between a mech unit and what eventually became the Stryker concept. I went round and round with TRADOC and people from the Pentagon every couple of weeks, along with contractors and various nations' militaries, testing Italian, German, Canadian and other vehicles before we settled on the LAV3 before the Strykers were anything but a blueprint. Didn't even have a name for them at that point...[huh]
