What to make with this?

[Two Types]

I maybe getting a bit ahead of things here, but have you considered which style of flat cap you would make to go with this suit?
An eight dart (like the ones by Johnny J) or the 'V' notch with headband (that Barry Simonds makes) would be nice. Or what about the very flat, round easern european style caps (as a tribute to Bela's Hungarian background)?
Any other thoughts.

A little ahead indeed but I was thinking along those lines. I can make 8 panel caps, but haven't had a hand at any other style due to lack of patterns or design schematics.
I do like Johnny's and Simmonds work.

Here's an 8-dart opened up, it takes a lot bigger piece of fabric than an 8-panel, which may be a problem if yardage is at a premium.

So I use the diamater of the size of my head. Make an 8 point star inside and cut out some triangles.

Sounds easy-ish
