what show am I thinking of?

I'm pulling my hair out trying to think of the name of a BBC TV series that takes place at the turn of the 20th century. It's not The Village & it takes place before Downton Abbey. The phrase "Return to" sticks out in my mind.

Any suggestions?

don't think either of these are it: "The Forsyth Saga" or "Middlemarch", but perhaps "Cranford" as there was a "Return to Cranford" done, but "Cranford" was more mid-19th Century.

It wasn't Return to Cranford. I looked & that wasn't.
