Every time I watch it (like last night) I always think what I would bring should the show come to my area. I don't know the value of books so I'd say I'd take (found it in my attic) my first edition 'Grant and His Campaigns' copywrite 1866.

My Grandmother has a spinning wheel that was rumored to have come over on the Mayflower. I think I would take that.

I'd take one of the guns I built and see if the "experts" can tell the difference.:whistling

I've gone twice (to the Las Vegas show and Tucson show) and it was so fun. I took a few things, nothing really valuable, but my great grandmother's real tortoiseshell haircombs were valued at $300 in 2001. It was a LOOOOOONG wait but I got to meet the twins and Rudy Franchi. It was quite an experience- I'd do it again in a minute!

I'd take this.

This fabulous old painting of two hunting dogs that someone gave to me. It needs cleaned and restored, (when I get the time  ) and it appears to be fairly old.

The signature looks to be either, "RM" or "DM",...hard to say,...[huh]

If you count (from the Tucson show) the one shot of me, my mom and daughter standing in line, and the two shots of me walking past the camera....I guess you could say I am "on" Antiques Roadshow"...:D

These cows, displayed at the 1939 NY worlds fair by the Lithuanians, and rescued by my dad from the trash on the curb from when they remodeled their embassy.

My great-grandparents have these ceramic (at least I think they're ceramic) George & Martha Washington salt and pepper shakers. I know they're antique but I'm not sure exactly how old they are. They're both seated in chairs. I've always wondered about them, what year they're from, who made them, value, etc...

I would take those I think

Probably some of the beer steins that my great-grandfather got for working for a glass and metal works for 25 and 50 years. And maybe the cedar chest in the hallway. It's from god knows when, but it was on a sailing ship at one time and the top has and old sail stretched across it. And there's a painting of a ship on the inside. It's real neat.

I have my father's 1919 baby picture in ann oval wood wall frame about 20" high. I might take that.

My grandfather's sternum-high Victrola with original finish might be too bulky to haul along.

We have a very old rocking chair - my husbands great, great aunt bought it used from a yard sale in the late 1800s. And we think it's much older than that. It is hand carved, with cornocopias on the armrests and a face on the backrest. I'd take that chair - just so I could have a chance to meet the Keno Brothers! For some reason, we're obsessed with them in my household.
