Hair and everything. This is a crappy picture, but shows a bit what I did with my makeup. My eyeliner is slightly winged, but the rest I tried to keep it very neutral today.

Also it's a pain to photo very dark hair without it looking like one ginormous black blob.



And just realized that the above photo actually has a finish on it so the colors are off... Oh well, you get what I was going for.

I draw an outline of the shape with a NYC Black Eyebrow/Eyeliner pencil, then fill it in with a cheap black eyeshadow that I snagged out of one of those gift set things you see at the drug store around Christmas. After that, I take a clean spoolie, and brush it through. Usually, and depending on my other makeup, I'll highlight the brow bone and the area under the brow with a white or peach eye pencil. That sounds like a lot, but it goes pretty quick, and is my "one makeup thing that MUST be done in order to feel like a human being." Well, that and my beauty mark. My natural eyebrows are a light/medium brown, so you can imagine how that looks on my pale skin with my black hair. No eyebrows girl! I could be a super hero...

This is my look for today, I'm attending the State of the Arts Long Beach as my boss is being recognized for her work.

Today I have on Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion in Pore Perfecting, Clineque Super City Block which just has a touch of color. On the eyes I have an Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Maybeline Expert Eyeshadow in Impeccable Greys, NYX liquid Eyeliner in black and Boots No 7 Exceptional Definition in black. On my lips is L'oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipliner in Red/wine with Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Peony over it. Goodness that seems like a lot.
