Try to avoid washing with optical brightener detergents as they make the blue go a lurid blueberry shade. I used to get these 4 at a time from Sheplers in the USA. They cost aroudn $27. Even with import tax and postage they are still cheaper than one new pair of decent jeans here.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll avoid that when it’s time to wash them!

Yeah, some of the makers today seriously need to step back and take a good, long look at what is it they're trying to achieve. I mean, I always thought it's very obvious all the cosmetic details of the trucker jacket are centered around it being very short. The jackets look strange even at 26", let alone more.

I assume they're dropping the hem of the jacket so as to not leave a huge, ladies' crop-top type gap sicne they've dropped the waistband on most jeans to six inches below the natural waist....

they drop it a lot more than just to bridge low waist jeans, I see some type 3 has the body longer than the sleeve, obviously to cover untucked tees or shirt
that's why I picked shortish sleeve to get a normal looking body length

last few year it has come full circle, some of raw jeans brands turn first selling one washed, then stretch jeans, and then distressed jeans (realistically/ expertly done with careful study of real samples over the years of wearing raw denim BS)

Black Wrangler "Rustler" jeans today. Their "budget" offerings I believe , "Hecho en Mexico".
Bought in a department store in South Central Los Angeles in 2011 while exploring LA.
I had been at Daytona Bikeweek March 2011 with some Aussie guys , some of them Vietnam Veterans.
We also took in the Harley factory and Museum in Milwaukee. Snow on the ground in Milwaukee.
One of the Aussie guys had never seen snow !
They were extremely well received wherever we went on our cross the USA jaunt.
The USA certainly respect their ex Servicemen.
Photo taken at the Southern Indian Ocean , a mild winter's day.

So. this is the wrangler anniversary series, 2000 pieces were released, made in Japan. with complete confidence, we can consider this a dead stock. View attachment 234889 View attachment 234890 View attachment 234891

Fascinating, presumably these are a repop of the original 13MWZ.... actually, the 11MWZ for the first year or tw, if memory serves. I'm wearing current, Mexican production 13MWZ right now, loving them. This is my first pair I bought a year ago and have worn *hard* in that time; there's just the beginnings of some fraying now between the upper thighs.
If Wrangler could do these at the same crazy prices in a dark indigo selvedge, I can't imagine much feeling the need of any other jean.
