I have never noticed this jacket at Aero. And it looks rather unspectacular on their website, but I think it's really cool in your picture.
Well if I'm not mistaken it is literally the one on display on their site :)
Still one of Aero’s best patterns and styles. Makes me miss mine, though I really like the house (whatever that is) that you went for here
Still a bit puzzled you let that one go, it was a stunner!

A few years back I didn’t like them. Now they are one of my favourite styles. Along with cafe racers they are also the only I have several of.
Interesting that you mention that, I tried several cafe racers for the first time some days ago and the moment I put them on I knew that style wasn't really for me somehow. It's not that they looked bad, it's more like.. you put something on and it kinda clashes with "you" -but maybe only in your own mind.

I totally get it. Some styles just doesn’t feel right. That can change however. Cafe racers were one style that didn’t feel right for me a few years ago. They’re not my favourite design yet and probably never will be. But they’re easy and cheap to find second hand and quite a few nice ones sneaked into my collection.

I’ve never used the snap. The neck is loose enough that I don’t notice the snap while wearing it. I wish it had a two way zipper though, or that the zipper started a little higher up from the bottom of the jacket.
Oh man first of all … the RC fits you perfectly. I mean can it be any better ? But you are right on the two way zipper. I have the RM version and love it but I wish it had the two way zipper (while historically not correct but it would be very useful). I could have used it on the bike. That said, RM zipper starts somewhat about 4 in from the bottom which gives it a little room to move and spread.

Such a nice jacket. I remember you beating me to that one online. Looks good with those trousers and the hat.
Thanks! Denim is Gustin Persimmon, and the hat is a Knox from the 1940s.

I am still in the market for that jacket in my big but 44 size. I still have my two originals I wore back in 1981 and later in 1988. They are in great condition and truly one of the best café racer style jacket. Just a step above Cal & Bates.
The Sportster will definitely be a keeper for me, as well as a Cal. As such, I need to be putting up a couple Kehoes for sale since I don't need four cafe racers.
