I’m jelly. The fit looks good!
Unless it’s a size 40. In that case the fit is bad and you should sell it to me

I agree with the anonymous looking grain in the comp weight - I have the same jacket - bought in 2019 and it is just starting to develop character/grain. OTOH, the Maverick's (that we both (and others) have) in Brandy Roma is super grainy and is far more pliable than the comp. Still, it's a Vanson Maverick and will always have that special appeal and over an extended period should transition into a favorite. I hope Vanson has a 10% sale soon as I would like to get another Maverick in the Granite Roma (Dark Gray) to add to my Type III collection. It's always just one more!Picked this up yesterday. First experience with a completely new competition weight Vanson. It’s really stiff! I hope it becomes softer with time. The current comp weight looks boring compared to the old ones I have. Smooth with little grain. Some have started to show in the sleeve creases and the leather has a lot of visible pores so it might have potential after break in.
Quite happy with the fit. But yeah, the old CW was nicer.

Thanks, gents! Appreciate it.I’m jelly. The fit looks good!
Looks good to me! Like a nice balance of slim and comfy..
Amazing jacket and fit! if you ever decide to sell hit me up!Unlabeled CHP. I think this might be a Seattle Woolen jacket. I've owned it for three years, finally managed to clean it up and remove the strong smell of cigarettes, and now I am wearing it for the first time and discovering that it fits me pretty well and I really like the jacket!

First Japanese Leather jacket.
Rainbow Country Hercules in brown.
With a flannel or shirt, I think it fits well. With a t shirt, a tad long on the arms and roomy in the chest. But I suppose you can’t have it both ways.
My plan is to wear it with a flannel or shirt most of the time.
Looking for some feedback from the fine folks here. What do you think in terms of fitment?
Thanks !

That is a very nice fitting jacket. I was wondering, do you have a link to a selling site? Or did you have to import via proxy sellers? These last few weeks I have been breaking in this trucker in horsehide from Chinese maker "Veluokldly" (that's what the tag says, complete with quotation marks).
I actually really like this.

Thanks Herrvallmo! I don't think I'll be selling this one. Seattle Woolen jackets show up for sale occasionally. Semolina Pilchard sold one a few months ago -- same model, more or less, with the label, in better condition.Amazing jacket and fit! if you ever decide to sell hit me up!
@stitchdown.shell I wish the Herc looked as good on me as it do you matehope it comes to good use in the second "great north"
Cheers!

Finally, the leather does look nice.

Thanks for your opinion of the Maverick Comp weight - I have a C2 I bought in 2016 and that leather is closer to the old comp weight and has more character/grain than my 2019 Maverick. As mentioned by other posters, your Maverick does fit well and hopefully over time it will season up nicely. It's interesting that most on the Lounge are so particular about character & grain when most others see a leather jacket and say 'wow' - real leather! The leather itself is very disappointing. It’s sanded and corrected and if you look closely there are visible pores. I’ve sprayed it with water, and it’s starting to show a bit of graining. Still nowhere near the old CW which was amazing.
If they had the Roma leather in a black colour I’d go for that. I love my Brandy Roma Maverick.
It’s still a very nice jacket but the leather is very underwhelming.
