Lee is great. Your GWG also looked great.70's Lee Trucker I bought cheap on the local Marketplace. I think it's my favorite denim jacket so far. I paired it with some double knee Prison Blues my wife got me as a Birthday gift. They are pretty loose fitting compared to what I normally wear but they are growing on me View attachment 672965
Thanks Will, denim jackets seem to be the main focus now due to a mild West Coast winterLee is great. Your GWG also looked great.
You bet. I've started to do some of my own tailoring so I might take a crack at sewing in internal pockets; on one of my least favorite jackets to start^^
If you come across a vintage denim jacket with internal pockets, let me know. I know many (if not all) of them don't have internal pockets. But I need one for my wallet.
That's why I wear a vest.^^

How are the pockets on those prison blues ?70's Lee Trucker I bought cheap on the local Marketplace. I think it's my favorite denim jacket so far. For context I'd say I have average size hands and these are a size 33" waist; they are a bit tight but nothing that would stop me from wearing them for fashion use. Maybe a bit tight for workwear possibly. How are the pockets on those prison blues ?
Before settling on Diamond Gusset I looked into both Roundhouse & Prison Blues and read reports of the pockets being quite small / tight acess.
Sounds like they may not be for me.For context I'd say I have average size hands and these are a size 33" waist; they are a bit tight but nothing that would stop me from wearing them for fashion use. Maybe a bit tight for workwear possibly.
Poor hand access on the job would be a pain for sure.Sounds like they may not be for me.
I've gotta have pockets I can conveniently access which are also well sized to comfortably hold the things I carry in them everyday.
I'm usually not the biggest fan of CR's but I really like how this look! and you wear it great, very niceBeck 666 in distressed HH. View attachment 673042 View attachment 673043

Tennessee/Bama will have tons of jacket weather compared to tropics. I get my jacket weather in fall/winter in Europe while living in South Florida, which is strictly flip flops and tank tops, lol. But the biting, humid cold weather over in Central Europe in winter made me switch from leather to warmer deck jackets. Oh well, I'll figure it out somehow. Turns out the Northeast of the US was the best for leather! If the weather forecast is accurate, this will probably be my last chance to wear a jacket until I leave SE Asia in mid-February. That means jacket season here = a grand total of four days.
It's actually cool enough this evening to try out a new turtleneck with the Nama Denim 1880 triple blouse.
They had five inches of snow this weekend where my family live in Tennessee/Alabama. Meanwhile I'm fighting for every minute of jacket weather over here. Lots of folks would gladly sacrifice their jacket collection for a dozen years in the tropics. After a lifetime of tropics and sub-tropics, I'm biting at the bit to get back to South Dakota winters.
Stay fresh, friends, wherever you are.
