Nope, but we did go to see some amazing Latin jazz and Bebop performances in this jazz club that goes by the super inspiring name 'the jazz bar' lol.

They also had a western themed bar but unfortunately we didn't get to go.

@Tom71 - Vanson Star -- Not sure why FL won't let me insert a quote here, but excellent Vanson Star there!

I agree with @Marc mndt it's very nice to see one that is wearable.

Makes me wonder if my jacket from the early 2000's was one of the longer ones, as it fit the way your new one does, Tom. I did not ever measure it. Since there is not an obvious production date in most Vanson's it's difficult to tell when they were built. I just know I never felt awkward wearing it. Still to this day the single most-complimented jacket I've ever worn - including by a few 75+ year old ladies in Marshall Fields in downtown Chicago.

Hercules yesterday. More experiments with pants, found these from Brooks Brothers in a really nice wool on eBay.

Tried with the 618 just to see how it works, I liked it too

Much improved look. The pants are great. Don't shorten them. They work well with the jackets, better than jeans. I don't understand why the hell is the jeans x leather jacket combo such a staple.

Yeah like 80% of fits here are basically that combo.

My guess is that one of the things guys over here like about leather jackets is that they’re hard wearing. So since learher trousers are too much for most, denim is the closest.

^^ To those questions, I either wear Jeans or cotton duck pants over 95% of the time. Just comfort, and (frankly) deep, comfortable pockets for me in the front, as I never put my wallet in the back pockets anymore.

And after ~ 12 years of requested kakis' wearing to work, very glad to almost never put on a pair of those again.
