Magnoli U-boat jacket.



It has belted sleeve cuffs and a belted back. I love this jacket.

I have a friend from Ukraine, he looks like a USSR propaganda poster, like 6'2" and carved from granite. He said in his home town if you saw a guy looking like this you look the other way and mind your own business!

Fall is just barely starting to show it head here for me, and only just enough to need a light jacket over a T shirt.

Sadly it's just the orange label Cooper A2 for me today.

Don't get me wrong I really love this jacket, but I've really been itching break out the wool.

Thanks! It's finally cooled down enough to start wearing wool, so I'm glad to be able to work this into the rotation.

I found another size 38 listed, but it's about half again more.

Another, in the long lineage of Roughwear Clothing. They used this chassis for years, just moved things around a bit. It is a jacket you would find in a thrift store. You don't pay much so you just wear it. I would like to polish it up a bit. I will post some pics in the V outer wear thread. Your latest jacket, and those of others would be a tough act to follow as of recent!

You have posted pics of a few dozen jackets during the short time I've been paying attention . None have been sharper than this. Clean lines, interesting textures, bespoke fit and a universal design that would look at home in all but the most formal setting..

This is the most interesting 'one and done' jacket I've seen on this site. There are a lot of concept focussed jackets that are very nice within their niche but this jacket would look great on anyone and like a costume on no one.

Very nice. I hope it's as comfortable as its appearance merits.

A leather jacket of this type, Magnoli U-boat, LW Peacoat, etc. carries something inherently sinister in its appearance that can't be separated from the jacket. I enjoy wearing mine but I try not to lose site of the fact that the jacket speaks to those around even when I don't.

I've made an effort to tone that down a hair.
