I am more than happy to have found a size 42“ replacement. As I wrote on insta, if it come to only one Leather Jacket, I guess that would be the FW Brakeman made from black Shinki HH :)

I have several "One Star" jackets from Schott:
-613H (bought new in 2015 from Legendary)
-The Per2 HH (actualy the jacket that started my cllection) in 2011

Also 1 original from early 50's.
1 original from early 60's

The Per2 and P613s are both special production and they differe by the leather used (the PER2 is a "vintaged" italian HH) whereas the P613S is a special Cromexcel Tea core leather from Horween, very similar to the one used by Aero.
So very different hides.

But the main difference resides in the proportions, the traditionnal 613 is a short 23" jacket, whereas the "special ones" are something like 27" long ( The PER2 was too long for my likings, so I had it cropped. I also installed diamond zipper pullers at pockets to recreate the 50's vibe)

And some details: the Per2 had NOS talon zipper at sleeve and front closure, also no leather gusset at the opening of sleeve. No under harm gusset (neither has the P613H)
They are both lined with cotton plaid fabric.

The cut of the P613S is slim square,
the PER2 is oversized at chest
The 613H is somewhere in between (not sure that helps :) )

Looks great!

Have you also tried 613s or 613sh? If so how do you compare them?

What happened with the front belt loops?
Good eye. Was wondering who would catch that. Love the jacket. Fir daily wear the length is good. On the bike (where it gets a lot of wear time) its an inch too long in the front. That created a bend that made the loops look pushed out and sloppy so i had a local leather shop remove them. Not to make this a Stuart post but i sort of think he’s 51% responsible. I sent him a pic in my ryder and he thought it looked “too short.” For stAnding around it is a little on the short side. Would have been perfect for riding which i believe is what Stuart intends these for. Anyhow, still love the jacket except on heavy ocd days

Jacket is looking great. I put a 2-way zip on mine to alleviate that issue.
