Picked up this 50s/60s US Forest Service jacket. Cropped and boxy, waist adjusters like a trucker; I'm really taking a liking to this style. I'm undecided on whether to keep the patch or not, considering I'm not American nor do I work for forestry but I think it adds a vintage/ more casual vibe. Thoughts?

It’s called pronged cinch-back or clincher, which is typical of type I trucker jackets from 1905-late 1930s

Lovely jacket but since it's still new and if perhaps you haven't spec'd it / don't prefer it this way, it does appear to be a size too large for you.
