Schott Duro Jac size 52 I picked up locally. I had read a few negative things about this Schott line, had some preconceived notions about how it is cheaply made, budget etc. but in my case I don’t necessarily agree. This 518 style was built in the mid-80’s to appeal to the masses and compete with mall prices I assume. Found an explanation on the Schott site from Gail, which I am posting. This one is a nice thick hide, same lining as my 118, corrected per Gail’s text but overall well built. It’s 80’s short so it’s 25” in the back, I may catch and release it as my other jackets are 26” plus for my 6’1” height with a long torso.

That's a beautiful jacket, it looks great on you. I especially love the shorter body length. I'd call this a keeper.

Thanks, down 22 lbs and 6 weeks ago this jacket would not have worked at all. Funny how that works…….

Nice! Well done. Getting to a certain weight is a good feeling.

The jacket looks really good too. That line can be hit or miss but that is definitely a hit.

Damn that’s nice. Perfect.

Never seen a gray Perfecto

I have never seen a lot of jackets that @Bonasera has in his awesome collection.
Thanks. This jacket was made for an japanese shop in 2001 and some diffrent parts are used i.e. double pin belt buckle, two stars on the epaulets, talon zip on the front and sleeves, and bull perfecto label.
He has an amazing collection! Not sure how much of it is up there but check out his IG https://www.instagram.com/bonasera86?igsh=MWJkY2RoZDg5cnEyeg==

It’s actually his Blatt that convinced me they made jackets for HD.

this is up on your page so hopefully you don’t mind me sharing this here.
Glad that my post helped your search.
Hope you enjoy my IG full with leather jackets and sometimes silly post.

Based on Brunello Cucinelli's fashion philosophy page on his website and my outfit, we can draw some parallels. My outfit combines a black leather jacket with a classic white t-shirt and light wash jeans, demonstrating a mix of textures and contrasts in tone. The leather jacket introduces a different texture from the other elements of the outfit, which aligns with Cucinelli's endorsement of contrasting textures for visual interest.

My olive green boots serve as the pop of color in the outfit and can be seen as the "natural charm" that Cucinelli mentions. The green also seems to follow his advice on pairing a color with a neutral element, considering the black, white, and jeans as the neutral pieces in this case.

Overall, my look includes elements of texture contrast and tonal pairing that resonate with Cucinelli's sartorial values, such as natural inspirations and mixing sporty or casual details with a touch of formality. The aesthetic of the ensemble also evokes a certain 'laid-back' feel while remaining stylish, which is in harmony with the essence of Cucinelli's brand ethos.
Except it is like 1/10th of the price
