New-to-me (courtesy of @tmitchell59 ) 1940s wool half-belt, Ricky gab jacket (whatever you want to call it). It's way too cold for this one today but I just had to wear it because I was so excited. It's a beautiful piece. Check out that back! And that giant collar! A little on the slim side, but in absolutely perfect condition.

These pics really show off this beautiful jacket. I have a very similar jacket that is "my" size. it fits, but is tight through the waist, wide through the top. This was a popular jacket during the 40s. It also has the beautiful Conmar zipper which is 40s. You do it justice. I'm glad that you got the jacket. You chose well!

I’ve gone through a lot of straight zip half belts and I gotta say this one is probable my favorite cut and fit wise. Also the condition isn’t great so I don’t feel the need to baby it.

It’s unlabeled but I think it’s a sportclad.

This could well be a Sportclad labeled jacket from the mid to late 40s. I have one that appears very similar in color and cut. It is one of my favorite fitting jackets. This looks to be a perfect fit on you. Mine does have the Spotclad label. I do not know who made these.
