I've owned a number of Silvertone guitars, so funky-cool. They made an electric guitar with an amp in the guitar case, pretty neat.

You got it! A 1940 I bought from the original owner who lived near by. It is magnificent instrument. Have any idea on the Blonde below it?

^^ The split parallelograms and what I can see of the pick guard says Southern Jumbo, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a blonde one…. I’m no expert, but the bridge on the J-55 was the giveaway! Imagining your jacket and guitar collection keeps me awake most nights… haha

Thanks. I don't factor in anything to be honest, most of the time I go by gut feeling. I judge a jacket by its overall dimensions. Sometimes it turns out to fit large which makes it a jacket for layering. Someones it fits small which makes it a spring / summer jacket.
