Crazy how different in color ours are. I know my lighting is darker, but seeing pics like this shows me how much mine has changed. It's a beautiful jacket though and fits you well!

And your pics are so much better than mine as far as resolution and color depth. Mine are taken with a shitty phone camera haha but yeah after seeing yours in person the color, texture and sheen have evolved so nicely! Can’t wait till mine gets like that.

You're a super nice guy Randy. Just honestly gift him the jacket, tell the guy it looks great on him and that you want him to have it an enjoy it. There can hardly be a better gift in the jacket-dom. This jacket is by far my favorite. And your friend is lucky to have you as a friend.
Thankyou Will - I will sure indeed take this into consideration! This jacket is so great I want to keep it around, but it's honestly just too small for me, no need to keep prevaricating about the bush as Wallace & Gromit would say! :)

FW Bodie again… ;) I really was surprised how quickly the jacket darkened after I got caught in a heavy rain shower last Weekend. Also I read from a Japanese reseller some of his customers took a bath while wearing the Bodie to achieve an even darkening and thus make the deerskin less sensitive to stains etc., lol.

Agreed. It does go without saying, but I still appreciate you stating so. I thought it was pretty funny, anyway

Hopefully this fit is a little less controversial

Wearing my Bodie today too. Loving this extended cold weather we’re getting!

Two excellent examples of how cool the FW Bodie can be worn and how the jacket develops over time.

@jeo Your Jacket needs a rain or bath (or to put it simply, just water) :)

First post here. Been learning a lot from this forum reading on fit and great to see how different jackets complement different body shapes. Bout time I contribute back to the conversation instead of being a fly on the wall.

Wearing a cowhide cafe racer from Thurston Bros’ house brand, Pacific Leather Cycles in size 38. Leather is competition weight so thick and stiff. The cowhide has a matte finish and a decent amount of grain. Only two complaints is that there isn’t an inner pocket for my phone and the leather creaks a fair bit when moving my arms around; especially around the elbows.
