Everyone keeps talking about the end of jacket season....but it's still a brisk ride up here in Canada fellas let me tell ya. Wishing this old Cascade had a mouton collar today.

It was 81 here on Sunday and snowed on Tuesday. I can stretch jacket weather into the first week of June if I try really hard.

The Californian came in today. So cool, fit is great, leather is awesome as Terry said. BUT..... a seam at one pocket welt is separated, and internal pocket bag is shredded. Not disclosed in ebay listing, so back it goes unless somebody here wants it for $299 shipped conus. Offer valid for 24 hours...:). I am 5-8, 142 lbs, jacket is tagged 38 vintage and wears like that. Totally wearable. All zips original and working. I would keep it 100%, but don't need another project right now. Sick jacket though.

I’d keep it and work the issues slowly. Looks great and a welcome addition to your vintage, straight zip police jacket collection.

Edit: The Cal and Monarch do fit and look better tho. So I get it. But still.

and it’s an example of how beautifully and flawlessly a leather jacket can be sewn ;)
