Simmons Bilt J100 in black Goat. 2 way RIRI zipper on this one. A good jacket on rainy days as the water just sheets right off.

Almost too hot to take these but I wanted to share pics of the newly arrived Langlitz Timberline. Honestly I’m blown away.

A much trimmer fit this time vs my Columbia.

The collar feels a little tall/in the way on first wear. Also the back is a little long…it seems impossible to get a fit that doesn’t end up with a wrinkly back, perhaps just too much badonk dunno. In any case these are minor concerns, I’m super happy with it.

If there’s interest I could do a write up now that I’ve gotten two very different jackets from the folks over at Langlitz.

Hello again folks.

I took a year out as I was buying/lusting too much.
This approach sadly only worked for a short while...

It's finally been cold enough to wear leather, i thought I would share my birthday purchase.
Got to say I am chuffed with it.

If you had told me a couple of years ago I would be wearing a leather shirt, I would have laughed. TFL effect in full force.

Friends just got a nice Californian police jacket in a huge 44 size. The size is consistent with a modern 44. This jacket could have been a custom sleeve job from the factory. Love the way it fits me. It had lots of dirt and dust but is cleaning up nicely. Photos of before and after coming up. Terri/Max, You will like this one.

Welcome back! Agree on me vs. leather shirt until very recently. Now, I´ve got this itch too. Must resist...

Looks absolutely great!

I apologize if this isnt strictly relevant to the thread but I did wear this jacket today and it doesn't feel like it deserves itsown thread. Sorry for no fit pics. After looking over my RMC Nelson today I observed some concerning developments. It appears as though small cracks have been forming along scar lines on the back arm panel on the left sleeve of the jacket. I spoke with the retailer including these pictures and they assured me that this was normal. I have jackets that cost me 1/10 what this jacket cost that I've treated like they owed me money that haven't shown any cracks. The worst that happened here is that I got caught in a downpour one time, after which I let the jacket air dry completely and conditioned after. Jacket is about 2 months old, and I'd say it's been worn maybe 30 times total and only briefly as it's been too hot to wear most days.

Check this thread, I think the same answer applies.

Personally I think it's a shame that RMC uses such scarred hides for their supposedly high end jackets. If I'm buying high end (and paying top dollar) I expect the maker to cut around scars like this.
