There is definitely some similarities with the roadhouse, as well as with
military jackets. Like this model

Other than colour (and possibly fabric composition), that's a straight repop of British Battledress - either the 1940 pattern, or a post-war version, I don't fully recall offhand. Does go to show, though, how far you can civilianise a military pattern simply by changing the colour. I like it - though LU are not an option for me, as, alas (like Bronson and most of these newer, Far East brands), they stop just about one size under what my swimmer's shoulders can squeeze into.

Just arrived: best option for a one star, Brando jacket IMO
LJM-7 in veg tanned tea core HH
By 666 Leathers Harajuku
Japan made.
Great service and advice, reasonable price and held deadlines.
I highly recommend for those into this grail jacket.
And really, fit and comfort are great!

Trying my best @Monitor impression, though I can only claim the fades and wear on the jeans, not the jacket

Super cool! But it was @Carlos840 & his jacket length pic who actually inspired me to go full denim today. Plus you're wearing your jacket in the correct size, unlike me, standing there in an XL instead of M. But I had it for so long that I don't want another one at this point...
