I had this one on my shortlist for a custom order when I visited Thedi Leathers last weekend. Lucky for me Theodoros had one laying around that was used for the pics on their website, it happened to be a perfect fit for me.

Been getting to wear this one almost regularly to work. It warms up enough during the day to not be necessary by the afternoon but this ELMC is just perfect for fall. Honestly it’s like a leather shirt. 2.5oz leather , super lightweight, superb drape but enough body to look the part. The liner is like silk. Just a super easy jacket to wear. If I lived in a warmer climate I’d probably buy all three colors and their Windward and call it good. Should’ve picked one up years ago.

Thanks, I guess it has been awhile. It was actually a very pleasant summer in NY, but the time for jackets is just about back.
I’ve actually paired my collection down a bit and looking to get it smaller. We’ll see if I can hold the line. I’m at 10 & want it at 6

Oh wow. That sounds like putting puppies down. You're a brave man. Be interested to see which 6 make it through to the live finals.

Enjoying the cooler mornings! Got to wear my HD CR this A.M. I recently over-dyed it with a diluted Fiebing's black with a touch of mahogany mixed in. Was going for more of a seal brown (from the original HD brown, although mine wasn't really HD brown anymore as I had stripped the surface coating off a while ago and then given it a good conditioning to darken it some already). It looked great after dying it (almost darker than I wanted), but after buffing the excess dye off, lightly conditioning it, and then putting a light coat of Tenderly on as a protective topcoat it lost a bit more color than I had hoped (lost a little at each step). Still pretty happy with my first attempt with dying a leather jacket, especially one that isn't naked hide. It's a bit more mottled / marbled than I was wanting - I'll wear it for a while and see how the color holds up before deciding whether to try more dye or not. The marbled look definitely gives it nice depth, which was part of why I dyed it in the first place; just have to find the right balance so it looks natural... It's close. Maybe after a couple months of regular wear this fall with plenty of sunshine thrown in!
