59er courtesy of Torfjord. My first foray into decent leather jacket territory. It was a great price and I grabbed it partly as a fit jacket experiment. Really happy with how it turned out and has helped me dial in the numbers for future jackets. Will go an inch or so longer in the back/front for other patterns but I get that the 59er is designed to be short. It's a cool jacket and the hide is supple but substantial. Has the potential to develop good character.

Looks great and congrats on your new jacket. Fit looks great there and will look better with a higher rise pants/jeans. Also maybe consider the front drop when you get your next jacket

B-15 style Turkish Air Force fighter pilot jacket that I recently scored. Very well constructed of a thick cotton twill shell with loads of useful details: real mouton fur collar, bi-swing back with underarm gussets, snap-down epaulettes, two inside snap close pockets, interior lining is a mid-weight “rescue” orange cotton blend material, left sleeve pen/pencil/zip storage pocket, and well-placed Velcro patch panels (I use this at work so I’ve added a U.S. Merchant Marine circular chest patch, captain nametag and American flag sleeve patch). A really nice medium-weight flight jacket.

Kicking back indoors after one last hurrah in Michigan. Gave the California sportswear a coat of URAD and replaced the busted pull with a proper Talon. I just love this jacket. I think despite being a bit on the short side in the rear, it’s the coolest HB I’ve ever had (besides the Albert Richard which was too small and simply can’t be topped).
